OUR PART
Colors 4 Kindness
Colors 4 Kindness was our first ever fundraiser event designed to fight against youth food insecurity during the summer. Many families with kids face greater food insecurity during the summer due to the lack of school provided meals.
Lunar Flare Studios designed Colors 4 Kindness as a Youth Art Market and Fundraiser. Entry fee was non-perishable food items, and all the vendors were youths from the Tucson area! The event promoted supporting youth artists in making their own funds and selling their creative works while keeping all of the money they raised from their booths.
100% of raffle entries, food donations, and monetary donations were donated to The Queer Girl’s Pantry for Kids, a local food pantry of neighbors feeding neighbors with a focus on feeding kids in our community.
Lunar Flare Studios was able to raise over $1000 in monetary and food donations for the Queer Girl’s Pantry for Kids, and many youth vendors walked away with successful sales and a great first market experience.
We hope to host many more Colors 4 Kindness events with growing numbers of participates and donations.
And a huge shoutout to Celestia Collective for donating their venue in support of our cause!!
